A URI grad, Tom worked for several insurance companies as a salesperson and manager, before starting his own business. Sangster Insurance has been serving RI clients for over 30 years. Tom has always been involved in the local community. What Jamie says about Tom: “My dad opened Sangster Insurance so he could be an independent broker. He wanted to represent people, not products. He is honest and genuine, and he always acts in the client’s best interest.” In his free time you can find him walking the beach, strumming the ukulele, and playing with his grandkids.

Jamie is Tom’s oldest daughter. She worked as a physical therapist for seven years in hospitals around the country, and loved public service. During this time, Jamie became passionate about improving healthcare. It starts with educating clients to be smart consumers. In her free time, you can find her spending time with family and friends, volunteering in the community, and traveling.
We focus on health insurance for small business employees, and Medicare products. Our goal is to help you find the right plan. Our services come at no extra cost to you.
